I was always going to be an author when I grew up, but meanwhile I was a keyboard player in a band, a piano teacher at the Royal Ballet School and then a post-doctoral research optometrist at London’s Moorfields Eye Hospital… FINALLY the inspiration arrived and I started my first novel – in a coffee break at a scientific conference! Nowadays I divide my time between my writing and a few lovely piano pupils.
I write uplifting novels about identity, renewal and finding soulmate romance when you least expect it. Having inherited a love of Spain and its culture from my half-Spanish mother, all my novels have a Spanish connection or setting.
The Spanish House, The Spanish Garden and the The Spanish Cove are three stories set in the starkly beautiful and unspoilt Cabo de Gata coastal region of Andalucía where I’m now lucky enough to live. I hope you enjoy the trips!
